Veteran's Day

Today, November 11th, is Veteran’s Day. We have had a rather crappy weather lately, but today, out of the blue, we’ve been covered in sunshine. We only decided relatively late in the day that we’d pay our respects at the Luxembourg American Cemetery and Memorial, so on a photographic perspective, the light was perfect. It has also been quite an intense moment, the cemetery was crowded and emotional, many young soldiers visibly touched, some back from a not so long ago deployment… So I’ve decided to dedicate all next week to Veteran’s Day and the amazing photoshoot that took place on this November 11th.
