I have been away from the blog for quite some time now, it fortunately did not mean I was completely out of it, as those of you following me on Instagram have noticed. But there was always a good reason to postpone “maintaining” this page, always something going on, mostly related to work. That small procrastination guilt in the back of my head made me come today. And I am tackling the backlog, finally!
So you’ll get to see shots from Portugal, France, Luxembourg, the US… and other topics that I’d like to cover here with you.
Now let’s get started, enjoy the ride, it’s gonna take a while to get through everything!
Today, November 11th, is Veteran’s Day. We have had a rather crappy weather lately, but today, out of the blue, we’ve been covered in sunshine. We only decided relatively late in the day that we’d pay our respects at the Luxembourg American Cemetery and Memorial, so on a photographic perspective, the light was perfect. It has also been quite an intense moment, the cemetery was crowded and emotional, many young soldiers visibly touched, some back from a not so long ago deployment… So I’ve decided to dedicate all next week to Veteran’s Day and the amazing photoshoot that took place on this November 11th.
This is the very last shot I took before the plane took off. I guess I got lucky.
